Long Live The Dress
Good news for those of you who love to dress with a little girlie influence My inside spies at New York Fashion Week tell me that the dress is to stay as a trend through Spring/Summer 10. Great News!

Many of the designers have featured the dress heavily in their collections, even if the styles are very, very different. For me, two designers made an impression with the pant suit, but in a season that looks set to be dominated by the dress, the big success so far is the gorgeous strapless goddess gowns in lace and tulle destined straight for the party scene. There was also a definite Indian influence with gold applique details & colors taken from the region, such as lemongrass and saffron. And this gorgeous look can be picked up in plus sizes!
