Formal Evening Gowns Trends
Class, elegance and style are buzz words for fall 2007. We find inspiration in today’s royal circles and in high society. The girly princess is a sophisticated lady now and a majestic queen or even an empress! This new class is discreet and less opulent or in your face, in contrast to the 'show-off' dress styles and the ‘Bling’ glitter, that characterizes the 'wannabe's and the Hip Hop scene.

Empire line dresses, waistline enhancing frocks, or simple dropped waist shifts are all part of the line up. Dresses with retro and contemporary trends are hot these days.
Baby doll empire line looks are a great way to wear volume if they don't make you look to puppy like. The column from bust line to knee makes for a great silhouette and is very comfortable to wear.
Rising hemlines are made possible for a wider range of age groups as tights make wearing shorter dresses easy to adopt and acceptable as modesty is retained. Be a red-carpet celeb in celebrity-inspired long formal evening dresses. Show off your great legs in hi-lo hemlines or wear short prom dress with flirty hems at tea or cocktail length. You can certainly cover up in a dress with sleeves, but most of all have fun this season!

Simply my favorite past-time, shopping for formal evening gowns, I just love doing this section of my website! As you may have gathered at heart I’m a party girl and you can bet your last nickel if there’s a chance of dressing up in an exotic gown, hours of pampering and a new hair do I’m on the list and the limos booked!
